A step back to a time before Scream where slasher films were dumb blondes falling over in the rain and getting stabbed, people making the stupidest possible decisions at every moment and getting stabbed, people deciding to split up in the dark and getting stabbed. Not terrible, just woefully uninspired and formulaic.

Look, we all watched Criminal Minds with our moms in 2005, but this is ridiculous.

Just literally so 2001 it almost pains me. The one scene where AJ cook's character smashing up her living room set to some nu-metal-y grunge number really had me taken out of it. A time where people thought that was cool or at the very least acceptable is a time we don't need to go back to. This could've been like an okay movie if it was about 45 minutes shorter. The detective character was great tho. Played a very nice unhinged. AJ Cook def the girl all the bad guys want in this.
