Ray Enright getting to remake an old Michael Curtiz movie from ten years earlier. However, they didn't seem to improve on the rather poor script and its overly simplified conclusion. The double-lead went to Dennis Morgan, which was a mixed bag as well. It's a perfectly fine time-waster, but you can't help but feel it was lacking in every aspect.
