A good attempt, lots of potential to be remade into a better film. The main issues are in the script, with some characters being underdeveloped (the kid that goes missing), to plot lines that are underdeveloped (the main romance), to a hyped up plot line that feels meaningless (can't say without spoilers), and of course a disappointing ending. The way the seemingly rich white family is portrayed is a bit cliché as well. Despite these flaws it was quite the enjoyable film. Lots of potential.
