Road to Paloma

Momoa has enough presence to carry it. frequently pleasant to look at (as if saying Momoa and Bonet hadnt convinced you of that).music is pretty good & fits in perfectly. As to the journeys of the characters, they go where they must, or float on as they must depending on the character. There's a sense that maybe Momoa felt there was more intensity behind every look, every word, than he could get across or perhaps this understated fire is just lost on a pragmatic literalist caveman such as myself

Revenge Movie is misleading, cause it really isnt. its not like bourne-chase, its a quiet chase, with motorcycle and best friend driving through the american west, visit family and making some money. Every 10 min starts a country song, pretty landscape pictures, instagram filters. Very few actions scenes, should be mentioned, because the description of the movie is misleading. Not a bad debut and its not a bad movie but also nothing special

Pretty simple and cliche but a good directing start for Momoa. Looking forward to what else he does.

We don't see any road movies with images as vibrant and romantic anymore, but dramatically this is flaccid and self-important, i.e. amateur stuff.
