Some of the stories are better than others, but I like how it goes back and forth between shorts using the designs of the time and more experimental work. The music hasn't aged particularly well, but the animation is still gorgeous and really impressive.

I've seen only an American version and it contains really horrible score on it. Clockpunk anthalogy starts more or less okay with logo animation sequence. Starlight Angel is bad girlie short with one stunning cry-eye. Cloud is beautiful but no story what so ever. Deprive sucks, but the best short is called Franken's Gears. Stunning animation and perfect character animation. Presence has very strong story and Nightmare brilliant monsters. Japan late 19th century is a common anime fight.
