whats starts of as an interesting and honest attempt falls into cliches in the last 40 minutes and becomes yet another movie that can be washed off the mind.

There are movies which take a clever, unique story & totally mess it up. Then there are movies which take a predictable, commonplace story, & make it excellent by the sole virtue of how it's told. 'Rock On!!' belongs to the latter category. After all, who, with at least a passing knowledge of the history of Rock music, haven't heard of bands breaking up due to ego clashes & later reuniting? I expected this premise to be cheesy & handled poorly in an Indian movie, but 'Rock On!!' proved me wrong.
