Rodin

The film doesn't build any momentum and flatlines into dry anecdotes. But the focus really is the artistic work. The atelier conversations go into detail; the drama, i.e. the interest lies in the twisting bodies and how they relate to their representation in the clay. Rodin is seen as a brooding, growling bull - sexually driven, stubborn, and dedicated. He couldn't care less if his work brings us any joy.
