Romance in Manhattan

Francis Lederer and Ginger Rogers stars in this nice little movie. It's purely harmless and relies on the charms of the two which easily comes across on screen. The story is a good old fashioned immigrant story with Lederer being the type of foreigner one want into the country. Someone who is good and will work hard to succeed. Things go well, not because it's realistic, but because it's a Hollywood movie. A minor film at that. But still a solid low priority production from RKO.
