Rome Express

The film has got a very distinctive British trademark on how it tells it's story. It takes it's time letting us get to know all of the characters before we even know what this is all about. Only about 1/3rd into the movie do we get an idea what the suspense on the train is all about. Many interesting characters like Conrad Veidt as this hardboiled crook or or Donald Calthrop as the nervous thief made sure there always was something to like. A real treat from the early days of British cinema!
