Romeo e Giulietta

Decent sets, I’m surprise how good the costumes look, they probably just borrowed them from a good theater but still, nice. The “I’m sick of this shit” look that Juliet has is amazing, girl same, but the rest is incredibly overacted, they all sucked. It has its place in history for being the earliest surviving film adaptation of this classic play, even though its quality is mediocre at best, good thing it's only 30 minutes long

A fairly long 1912 movie to tell the tale of Romeo & Juliet. But even with enough time to develop the story, this never becomes a memorable Shakespeare experience. The drama was too anonymous. And considering some of the other big Italian movies from this period, this doesn't touch those in the slightest.
