Romulus and Remus: The First King

A brave attempt to do an italian "Apocalypto", it makes the best out of its budget and subject, with a great cinematography by Ciprì. It's not perfect, at all: the action scenes are cheap, the costumes and buildings are more bronze age than proto-latin, overdoing the "primitive" vibe. But it perfectly nails one thing: to show how different was ancient Rome spirituality, how a complex pantheon and civilization was built on a cultural background alien to us, how there was caos before order.
