This series of cartoons follows in the footsteps of Tom and Jerry of promoting pests to heroes in the eyes of millions of children. Why there hasn't been a series of archy and mehitabel cartoons, I don't know. What I can say is that this series of Ant & Aardvark cartoons are produced by most of the same people who did the Pink Panther cartoons, and they're just as witless and overreliant on cliche "funny" sound FX
