Route 666

Great cast of shoulda-beens. I may or may not have squealed in joy when Gary Farmer showed up with peyote. Then definitely hated that he was playing a stock shaman in a piece of junk that takes a cool lost highway (not that one) set-up and runs it into the chain-gang ghost-zombie burial ground. The tortuous overcranking on the ghost-zombies (zombie-ghosts?) has to be seen to be believed. You're better off just not believing it.

Steven Williams is likeable enough that all the bad ends up decently watchable, but of course still bad.

Philips and Petty must have read the script and thought this sounded interesting. Unfortunately even they can't bring up the piss poor effects and generally cheap looking filming techniques.

Oh my! Until the minute 50 nothing happens, I did not read the synopsis before seeing it and until that moment I attempt once or twice to stop watching, after an hour I decided to stop wasting my time.
