What is more important? Pride of Vietnam veteran or lives of innocent women and children? This film gives a straight answer, but goes even further: there is no such thing as innocent MUSLIM woman, child, dog, etc. All Muslim children are given AK47 at the birth, right? They learn to shoot at age, say, one. Right? What is the moral of the story? Every Muslim have to be killed. Some kind of collective guilt. God bless motherfucking America.

A poor man's 'a few good men' with some war scenes thrown in. Samuel L Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones are decent as is Bruce greenwood as the villain. it's entertaining even if a bit predictable.

A Few Good Men Lite? So so, as usually Jones and Jackson are watchable even in mediocre fare.

You ever put your soda back in the fridge with the cap not on tight enough, and then forget about it for a few days, and then see it again and feel elated to get to enjoy more of that soda, only to drink it and find out all the carbonation is gone? That's what it's like watching this movie. It's flat.

Not bad. Some of the dialogue seems a bit forced/cliche/corny, but overall, pretty solid military law drama. It manages to be what it intends to be, and doesn't do anything wrong.

Not bad but kind of routine. I'm not ready to give up on William Friedkin yet, but it's a little sad to see him working on potboilers like this

It's a decent more but nothing more. Another "good guy framed for something he didn't really do" movie. Personally I'm just tired of that same plot used over and over. Disappointing as Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones are both capable of so much more.

Has a Few Good Men feel to it, but weaker. I guess it's kind of cool that the screenwriter is a US Senator now though.

Good defense of a heroic soldier who did what he must and had nothing of which to be ashamed. Some what of a slow plot, but okay.

Not offensively awful, but incredibly uninspired. You'll forget about it five minutes after it's finished.

Far more interesting & engaging than i had expected, in part due to the flashbacks & bloody action scenes. A couple great Samuel riled up scenes & some slow stuff round out the picture. Since it's really a straight ahead picture, it doesn't ask any hard questions.

Being an ex-Marine all I could do was sit there and nit-pick. From magical helicopters that change configuration seemingly in mid-air, to horrible inconsistencies with the uniforms, to being able to have a conversation in an operating Huey without using headphones and the intercabin communication system, to gross insubordination displayed throughout, I can go on and on.....dear God, this movie annoyed me! I had such high hopes, too.

I'm biased toward Samuel L. Jackson, so it might not really be a 90, but I like it. It's sort of a homeless man's "A Few Good Men." The best scene is when Samuel L. Jackson is on the stand. "Are these the mother fuckers?" "YES!!!"

This is a highly predictable film. It's also an extremely poorly edited film. Jackson and Jones do not save this movie - not even close.

Very unconvincing ending - any jury with that evidence would not have done what this film says. It really needed a revelation or aha moment to change it- and that did not happen. Good acting overshadowed by glaring plot hole.

Friedkin is clearly fascinated by the story's oft-debated use of xenophobia to reinforce its legal arguments, but in his effort to play ping-pong with the audience's complacent prejudices, his star-filled but static film works at troubling cross-purposes with itself. Still, here is a movie that's taken some bullets in the name of an attempt to objectively contemplate the use of force by the American military.
