Run Hide Fight

An awful film made by a moronic Conservative who has no idea how school shootings actually function with daft attempts at political commentary. The means this film commits to promoting a pro-gun message is inept; everyone in the film aside from Zoe is incompetent and the setpieces are so non-sensical that it makes guns as a contingency to school shootings impossible to take seriously. If you're looking at this as an action flick, expect cringey dialog and a lot boring action film conventions.

Okay Movie

The movie equivalent of something left over in your fridge. It is what it is, nothing mysterious or fancy about it; actually offers very little that would be worth talking about.

entertaining enough

I must have seen a different movie than some people. Is it the best action thriller ever? But it is mostly competent with a great, gritty performance from Isabel May that manages to be sympathetic and badass. It does touch on the reasons for school shootings, although sloppily at times. But to say that it doesn't wrestle with any ideas is dishonest. There are politics associated with it because The Daily Wire released it but I don't care, it's a tense FILM. Talking to the dead mom is lame though

Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but better than expected. Some good performances and weak ones here and there, but for what's basically Die Hard in a School Shooting, it mostly gets the job done at being engaging and having some good scenes both inside and outside the school. There's a bit of stupidity and some contrivances, but I don't feel it's a movie you should nitpick too heavily. It's not anywhere near as bad as what most Critics are saying. I had a decent time overall.

The writers lay it on pretty thick with this somewhat interesting take on school terrorism. Isabel May was great. The cute badass teenage girl with issues was a good setup until she started seeing and talking to her dead mom. Also, the terrorists were inconsistent and borderline idiotic. Even the cops were dumb. Still, it was OK right up to the asinine ending that turned the hero into a murderer. Despite the lame, crappy, bad writing, it was exciting at times and worth watching.
