The joys and tragedies of alcohol - Soviet style!!! The story isn't always as easy to follow, but the visual wizardry of Georgia director Mikheil Chiaureli is absolutely marvelous! One of those underrated artistic directors of from old school Soviet that doesn't get enough recognition compared to his contemporary colleagues.
