Salomè

Salomé estreava há 50 anos na Itália. Esse me dividiu, enquanto é um desbunde visual, também vai de encontro com o fato de eu não gostar dessa edição excessiva. O filme é curtinho, mas parece que leva milênios porque a gente enjoa fácil da estética over da edição, talvez a pessoa que escreveu que não dá pra ver esse filme sóbrio tenha razão. I have to confess I put off watching this for over a year because I sort of knew I wasn't going to enjoy it much. The best thing I can say for it is that Bene is a more convincingly demented filmmaker than, say, Jodorowsky (or that is to say he's like what Jodorowsky probably wishes he were). Despite including a fair amount of Wilde's play, the film is shot in such an incoherent manner that it's still nearly impossible to tell what's going on most of the time.
