Salomé

Contrary to what IMDB says, this is not a remake of any Salome film--nor does it owe anything to the Oscar Wilde play--but a mélange of at least three different bible stories. Of course, there are a few perverse touches, especially the music accompanying the dance--music one would expect to hear at a bullfight. It is, finally, a not-so-veiled indictment of religion.

A charming little myth story done surprisingly well for an amateur filmmaker. Really love the lighting effect during Salome's dance.
