Samurai (2012)
Takeo is a young samurai living with his family in XIXth century Argentina in La Pampa. When his grandfather dies he sends him on a futile quest to find Saigo Takamori, the legendary "last samurai". On his travels he encounters an armless gaucho who becomes his friend. (by Grouchy)

As flawed as it is in many ways, "Samurai" still deserves a lot of credit for its ambition and heartfelt performances. The final result is uneven and kind of rambling, without ever hitting dramatic closure for the enigmatic characters.
