Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny

Who made this and why? It was filmed at an amusement park, but why? It most certainly doesn't work as advertising. Who got behind this and said, "Film it?" There's a shot of a dog that takes place from behind the wheel of a truck for absolutely no discernible reason. Who made this and why? Who gathered the necessary costumes including the Santa outfit, the Ice Cream Bunny (which makes Donnie Darko look like Bambi's Thumper) AND a gorilla. Who made this and why? The question still haunts me.

The single greatest riff by MST3K/Rifftrax. I cried laughing, talked to myself, hyperventilated, and even got cramps while watching this. But the rating is for the movie, and this insane garbage deserves a zero. Greatest scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i4vVakMhIs

An existential horror film that broke something deep inside me. Maybe my colon. Has an actual, honest to god, film within a film. Utter madness.

Rifftrax has lead me to a lot of insane things but this....this was something alright. Going by another review there's a different Jack and the Beanstalk version to the one I saw. Mine went firing off in a 15 hour Thumbelina digression. Either way, I'm insane now

RiffTrax 50. Movie was bad but I didn't hate it. Didn't expect an entirely different Thumbellina movie stuffed into the middle as filler. What was the whole point of this when the sled could teleport in the first place? Fav scene: creepy bunny riding to the rescue in a vintage fire truck and then Santa ditching all the children.

Seen Conquers the Martians? Seen the Mexican Santa? You still cannot fathom this. Worst yet is the fact that it is all orchestrated so that you can see Thumbelina. I pity any child who was subjected to this and all those involved should be brought up on charges of child abuse. [Rifftrax rips this a new one like perhaps no other but reaches new levels of hilarity when the dilapidated long-ear shows up. MST3k never got me laughing that hard for that long. Bravo boys.]

Kids, never lose hope. The ice cream bunny (whatever the *beep* that is) will always be there to help you out of your predicaments.

Every time Jason Brant releases a new reaction video I make sure to watch the movie before watching the reaction but this time I only got halfway through and had to take a break because I kept nodding off. I finally finished it a day later but now I'm wishing I didn't.

...What is the Ice Cream Bunny?

I watched the "Jack and the Beanstalk" version (featured on Rifftrax). It's bad but entertaining whether riffed or not. The "Jack and the Beanstalk" digression is very strange, but I have to admit the giant's songs are sort of catchy.

A peerless Frankenstein's monster of a film, with the titular narrative existing only to repurpose an existant Thumbelina short, credits and all, for the holidays. Next to the bookends, with lingering takes, no location sound, and one fluffy mascot that makes Chuck E. Cheese look like the best work of Jim Henson, the theme-park kitsch of the short, though artless and seemingly interminable, could almost be complimented as "quaint".

This is the story of a sex trafficking mole and his accomplice, bookended by Santa crashing in Florida and being helped by the Ice Cream Bunny. You know, the Ice Cream Bunny! A zero budget mess contained inside another mess.
