Satánico pandemonium

A nun is tempted by Lucifer, eventually gives in. Odd pacing and it never feels cohesive. Some decent exploitation moments, plenty of murder, nudity, low-key blasphemy, a pretty tame orgy. Never gets to anything I'd call pandemonium

This 70's nunsploitation movie is surprisingly entertaining. Cheap production aside the story of a young nun being tempted by Satan, and the madness that falls down upon her and her convent was unsuspectingly tense. However, the movie is at times slow which would generally serve to greater build tension and atmosphere, but sadly the score of movie works against that here. Although the film features plenty of what you would expect with the genre it operates as a genuine religious horror B-movie.

A surprisingly entertaining piece of nunsploitation nonsense. There isn't really much quality on show, but there are some entertaining moments, and the whole thing sort of works. A likeable cheapy.

Sister Maria, a devout nun in a Mexican convent is targeted by Lucifer, who slowly tempts her into corruption. Based on the (frankly incredible) title, I was expecting a wild ride of depravity, but this is a pretty sedately paced melodrama filled with hand wringing angst and religious guilt. It delivers a nice slow burn of building tension, and things get really interesting in the last 20 minutes once Maria finally succumbs to evil and madness.

Decent but one of the better nunsploitation films
