Internationally known graffiti artist, Banksy, left his mark on San Francisco in April 2010. Little did he know that this act of vandalism would spark a chain of events that includes one of his rats being removed from a wall, Museums ignorantly turning down a free Banksy street work, and a NY gallerist who has made it his business model to remove Banksy street works from all over the globe doing whatever it takes to get the rat in his possession.

An interesting documentary about the "business" side of the art industry and how it's no different when it comes to art-versus-money. It was great to follow a man, who was not in it for the money and wanted a really great piece of art to be seen by as many people as possible, and not be swayed in his endeavours. Would have been great if we could have heard from Banksy himself, but still a fascinating watch.

Solid art doc. Tells the story of a Banksy piece that was preserved from a building in San Francisco and the attempts by one man to give it to a museum for public display. The artists featured hold a range of opinions about whether street art should ever be preserved for posterity. And one dealer serves as a good villain in the story (the one guy who just wants to make money off of street art however possible, regardless of the wishes of the artists).
