Better than 3, but no where near as good as the first. I think this'll be the last one I bother sitting through. I watched this a couple of days ago and can't remember much about it to be honest. Aside from terrible dialogue.

Fourth Saw brings the aftereffects on display now that the real Jigsaw is dead and the aftereffects are even too puzzle-like and hasty. A proper letdown.

I enjoy the Saw series. By this film though, I feel that the plot is struggling and is only there for the sake of the gorefest. However, I still enjoy the gore, it is as creative and shocking as ever.

Ok, so what the hell is even going on in this movie? No, I get that there's people in traps and then they die and there's heads exploding and limbs being severed and blood pouring out of gaping chest wounds and flesh getting torn off bones but what the hell is even going on??? (1/5)

Saw IV seems like you have seen the same movie again! The story was very easy to predict but they did come up with some new and creative torture scenes. If you want to see it then I suggest you wait until the DVD release. Don't waste your money on a movie ticket.
