Balasaheb Nimbalkar, who is a well-respected personality in the society but he is love with a dancer, Sugandha Karadkar, who turns down his offer politely, but firmly. Sugandha wishes that her daughter Jayashree gets a good education gets married into a good family. So she makes Jayshree promise that she will never dance. Balasaheb somehow manages to confer the most prestigious dance award on Sugandha and she plans to dance in the award presentation ceremony. (imdb)
