Scar Tissue

Any particular event is composed of discrete moments, just as the whole body is composed of discrete parts and attire is made up of discrete pieces of clothing. Friedrich shows this through the moving image as the sequencing of still images (i.e. any particular film is composed of discrete images).

mostly focuses on the different attire of the two sexes, particularly on women's feet and around men's midriffs. didn't quite get as much out of this as some of her others. cool editing but the content isn't very interesting.
