Scarborough

Hot-button relationship drama is too much a slave to the didactic social statements it wants to make (especially in the early stages) - generally fine performances by the quartet of actors keep it watchable, but without giving away story elements, it seems to want to have its cake and eat it too in terms of gender dynamics as it contrasts these two similar and intersecting March-August relationships. While it doesn't really work, it does have some interesting and intriguing elements to it.
