Scare Campaign

Original script about the flexible borders between entertainment & barbarism, being an object of gaze and a victim. Cairnes's question the conventions of horror cinema such as victimization of women by men as they repeat the voyeuristic joy at each new layer they open. Hence, they turn the movie itself into a self-destructive example of male-gaze exploitation. Masked-freaks seems to allude to ISIS where entertainment & barbarism interlock. Some problematic parts but overall above average.

The movie is worth a watch. The story is predictable. The climax could have been made better as it totally ruined the film for me. Not at all satisfied.

The structure is novel, but this video nasty lacks the heart and wit of the filmmakers' previous work.

İlginç ama basit bir gerilim filmi. İnsanların korkularını kullanan bir reality show, patronları reyting uğruna konsept değişimine geçmesini ister. Kimsenin olmadığı bir malikanede korkutucu sahte olaylar başlar. Bir korku filmi için fazla tepkisiz sahne var. Bu da ritmi düşürüyor. Fakat son yarım saat o kadar hızlı ki, olay örgüsü daha iyi işlenmiş. Ters köşe sonu ile izlenir. Keşke arkası yarına kaçmasaydı. Bu filmde herkes ölecek. O kadar.

Interestingly told. The execution isn't the best but it was still very entertaining to watch.
