A long forgotten RKO movie series tells the story of folksy Scattergood Baines (1941), right out of the Will Rogers mold, with Guy Kibbee as the likable fella. The first entry is a good one. Tells how he got power of a small town while taking care of the little folks in it. All good-hearted and gentle. A fine feel-good start to Scattergood, which would produce 6 films from 1941-1943.
