If nothing else, worth watching for several milestones in film which were reached here, including (but not limited to) evil movie prison warden #400 and evil movie military commander #5000.

An Australian Mad Max/Star Wars hybrid that takes the post-apocalyptic outback of the former and the S of the latter and melds them on a budget of a goon-soaked tenner. Not desiring to be one-upped by genre-spoiling titles like American Horror Story, Woody Allen: A Documentary, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Science Fiction Volume One: The Osiris Child takes genre-spoiling to new heights...and in only the first volume. What will volume two bring? My money's on Science Fiction.

A couple of surprising narrative turns help. Presumably the intended subsequent "volumes" will remain unrealised.

Thoroughly entertaining sci-fi romp. Though slight in dramatic content, and arranged a little curiously out of sequence, it more than makes up for this with some vibrant visuals, effective formula plotting and engaging turns from the ensemble cast.

Part solid, part incoherent with an unfulfilling ending.

Poor B Movie Sci-Fi, the 'scary monsters' are totally hilarious.

Third time is most certainly a charm for ambitious indie director Shane Abbess. A local genre film replete with American accents has no right being this entertaining, but Abbess, a convincing cast and a truly resourceful CGI team pull it off. Pacing issues and hokey Dark Crystal-inspired creature FX aside, The Osiris Child is clearly a passion project that can stand proudly aside its bigger-budgeted space brothers. An unlikely, unexpected gem for genre junkies and Australian cinemaphiles alike.

1 bilim kurgu romanı okuyoruz. Kellan Lutz'un başrolünde oynadığı Osiris gezegeninde geçen bilim kurgu. Mahkumların mutantlaşıp süper mario kaplumbağası olan 1 gezegenden, kızını kurtarmaya çalışan 1 albay ve yol arkadaşların macera dolu filmi. Uçakların kovalamaca sahnesi çok muhteşem. Kaliteli. Fakat kaplumbağalar çok kötü. Filmin sonunda, devam filmi olacak şekilde bitse de, üzücü ölümler var. Bilim kurgu kaçış öyküsü. Yalnız kaplumbağa gibi yavaş

This is low budget sci-fi at its best. Knows exactly what to focus on and what to cut around. Simple story driven by great characters and performances, as well as better set pieces than most big budget fare. It's like what Neil Blomkamp has been attempting post-District 9 but good!
