Simon Cowell shows up and Scooby Doo and Shaggy sing Shallow and then there’s tinder references and jinkies who was this for. “And I would’ve been released in theaters to a mediocre box office return if it weren’t for you meddling covid-19s”

With a very much alive video series, and a very much dead, yet recent, live action series, I have no idea why anyone thought it would be a good idea to make a computer animated Scooby-Doo movie. Even so, this one is pretty on par with this century's Scooby-Doo movies.

Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? This entry wasn't groovy! Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? Ya really botched this movie. Come on Scooby Doo, I see you this is such a movie killer You're not fooling me, cuz I can see through all that PC filler. You know there's Dynomutt and Captain Caveman I ask you what the heck is that? What was that? Lazy writing's no excuse, the gang and gags don't fit, this film went splat! That's a fact! (I'd finish the song but Criticker insists reviews be so short.)

Zoinks! This was bad. Adventure instead of mystery. It was barely a Scooby movie with not-Blue Falcon, Ken Jeong dog, and especially overcompetent Kiersey Clemons hogging precious family movie length screen time. Daphne didn't do anything except befriend a minion knockoff. Velma Googled that for you. Fred loves the MM (but has a fun Capt America scene). Simon Cowell references are dated already. Forte was a bad Shaggy. Fav scene: Halloween bullies stealing candy because it's bad for your teeth.

Look y’all it’s a Scooby Doo movie about Dick Dastardly trying to kidnap Scooby - who is the descendant of Alexander the Great’s dog - so he can open the gates to the underworld. And also Simon Cowell plays himself. That’s literally all there is to say about this.

Scoob! is less of a Mystery Inc vehicle and more an plunge into the Hanna-Barbera universe. With that in mind the film isn't terrible, but often disappoints relying on pop-culture references and historical anachronisms to form its flimsy plot. The animation takes a bit of getting used to, and occasionally dips into uncanny valley territory. The voice acting is alright, if immemorable, though Issacs as Dastardly was good. Thematically about boys and their dogs, with an egregious Cowell cameo.

Man, remember when a Scooby-Doo movie meant something rad like Zombie Island or Witch's Ghost and not whatever the hell this was supposed to be?

Scooby and Shaggy play makeshift Marvel with other Hanna-Barbara characters while the rest of the gang mostly drives around and makes weird pop culture references. Is it terrible? Nah, it's watchable. Is it a Scooby-Doo movie? Not really.

Enjoyable and sweet natured revisit? reboot? of the venerable series is good fun, especially before the drop away into a frenetic, "action-packed" third act - works best in the earlier stages as the gang comes together, dabbling in some goofy MURDER SHE WROTE style investigations, and focusing on the uhm "shallow" but endearing relationship between Scooby and Shaggy. A decent voice cast seem to be having a good time, especially that one bizarro cameo - as pleasant, undemanding fun, this works.

As a kids movie it wasn't bad. I had a decent time with it and I thought there were several funny scenes. Although each funny scene was counter balanced I a cringe worthy scene such as the painful product placements and plugs.

One of the worst, if not THE worst, films of 2020, SCOOB! is a trainwreck from start to finish. Will Forte is the worst Shaggy we have ever had and the rest of the cast isn't any better. Who's dumbass idea was it to hire Marky Mark in a voice acting role. The hate crime committing "actor" can barely act when he is on camera let alone with just his voice. I hated this film and wish that it could be banished from existence.

I see and acknowledge most of the criticisms levelled against Scoob but I still managed to have fun for the most part. The pushing forward of the new Blue Falcon as a main character seems also purely to setup a Falcon Force spin off based on the credits, and truth be told, him and his crew add little here other than to marginalise the Mystery Inc team. That said I enjoyed Dasterdly, Muttley and even Captain Caveman, and there was just enough classic Shaggy and Scooby for this to work for me.

Man what a weird movie. When it's not making dated (and I cant stress enough how dated) pop culture references and just being a love letter to Scooby Doo it works. It's sweet and silly and nostalgic. When it attempts to be a marvel movie interjected into a script from 2008 that was caked with dust it's just bizarre. Spoiler alert, a character goes to hell in this movie. Like just try and guess who. Can you? Or is your brain incapable of registering that as an actual plot point.

I’ve never been a Scooby fan, but it’s bizarre how this completely abandons the concept of what makes the show, and then proceeds to present something completely devoid of any ideas, originality or charm.

Ünlü Scooby Doo çizgi filmin sinema versiyonu. Kahramanlarımızın nasıl tanıştığını öğrendiğimiz film, yeni 1 macerayı da seyircilere aktarılmış. Renk paletine bayıldım. Senaryo bu sefer mekanik anlamda ilerliyor. Yani mistik yönünden çok realist davranılmış. İyi ve kötü karakterler birbirine karışmış. Filmin sonunda, Atina'da macera sonlanıyor. Scooby Dooby Doo Where Are You? Kaptan Mağara Adamı geliyoooooooooooooo.

It did have its cringey moments, but this was a lot of fun. The remake of the opening title was really cool and I actually thought a lot of the jokes were funny. It's really a story about Shaggy and Scooby, which I thought was fine, but others might want more from the rest of the gang. And while Will Forte isn't the greatest Shaggy, a lot of the other voice acting was pretty good.

As a very casual Scooby appreciator, I loved this. It had a lot of laughs, and a bit of heart. Purists are complaining that it's not what Scooby Doo is "supposed" to be. So what? Appreciate it for what it is.

I'm always down for some Scooby-Doo. A little bit different compared to the usual formula. I'll accept that, but it did feel a little bit more forced than usual. Especially the visual modernization, which didn't fit the characters I grew up with. What they did to Captain Caveman to make him relevant was the biggest offender. That reminded me of that old "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show" Simpsons episode. They basically Poochied Captain Caveman. As uncool as it sounds.

It feels like a cash-grab. The story is not engaging, the jokes aren't funny, and there are way too many references that only older viewers will get to make this a "kids" movie. But then it lacks the depth of others. This one was all over a place.

Criticker's prediction placed this at 60%, and again, very very close guess. Overall, I thought the film did a fine job, but there was plenty of things I didn't care for. Will Forte, for one, was a stupid casting choice. The people making the movie just wanted a star-studded voice cast to lure more people in, but people aren't watching this for the cast. They're watching it for Mystery Inc. and those characters - and those characters are synonymous with their voice performances..which was absent

I wasn't that familar with Scooby Doo apart from catching a few episodes of the show, so I don't know how much they changed things for this one. Judging this as a stand-alone film: I thought it started off quite nicely; the "haunted house" scene was fun, but it they then went overboard with way too many elements and ended up with something utterly generic. They should have just kept it simple and concentrated on Scooby and the gang.

One of the best Scooby Doo entries - provides a lot of background to the dynamics of the group, Dick Dastardly was a treat to encounter again, the Hannah Barbara references and characters were great, superhero sparks are adequate for 2020, Scooby as a mystery himself worked. Loved the colors and art direction. Cast is top notch as well.
