Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!

Well, it's not boring. but it's not really good in any way, and the plot is about as wonky as it gets.

Decent updated animation. Filler first 1/3 plot with the mystery cruise. I would have liked to see actual pirates instead of supernatural ones. Nice to see Fred's parents. Fav scene: pirate shanty while dressed-up passengers are running away from the pirates.

A pretty solid Scooby outing. The gang are all in top mystery-solving form here, with Shaggy and Scooby even getting to set their own trap. I always have enjoyed the era of Scooby where Daphne gets to be more Elle Woods Incarnate than helpless damsel, and she's the former here for sure. Edie McClurg plays Fred's mom, and it's delightful. The ghost pirates look amazing, and the soundtrack is really catchy. An oft-forgotten entry into Scoob canon, which is a shame because it's fun.
