Scooby-Doo: Return to Zombie Island

There are some really fun parts and some nice call back to various other Scooby-Doo mysteries but it runs out of steam once the movie within a movie twist happens and never really hits its strides again.

A poor sequel to the one that started two decades straight worth of Scooby-Doo movies, but I'll give them credit for recognizing that of a series of twenty something movies, "Zombie Island" was most worthy of having a sequel. But, it seems, that from here on out, the few surprises we'll have from these movies are only going to be slightly less unremarkable as the others.

Typical Scooby-Doo which isn't bad except it doesn't live up to the Zombie Island name. Turns out it was guys in masks after all. The film making schtick got lame after awhile and wasn't that deep anyway. Fav scene: montage of various classic monsters.

Didn't like the plot in this one. They took another Hollywood angle instead of going the horror route it pretended it was going. Still Scooby-Doo, but not at their best.

I found it to be pretty enjoyable actually, albeit a bit messy and uninspired at points. I think it started quite strongly but got weaker as time passed, but oh well. Fred is such a cutie ugh i love him.
