A serious change for the Scooby-Doo franchise, but it works well and I absolutely love it. oh, and Third Eye Blind does the theme song.

It does a good enough job, bringing back beloved classic tropes while subverting them at the same time. But, of all the potential monsters that could have ended up being real, did the first one have to be voodoo were-cats?

It was great seeing Scooby in new adventures especially with real monsters. Like, it was fun to watch.

Better than it should be. But Billy West is awful as Shaggy

It's the Scooby Doo movie we need, but not the one we deserve.

An admittedly dark Scooby film but a great and fresh one as well.

A fresh take on the franchise, as an almost reboot. There's some solid voice acting here, if you take out Billy West's Shaggy, and the story is a lot darker than you would expect. It's fun and a classic reimagining, but still falls prey to being a little too dark for its own good.

Nice twist on the classic Scooby-Doo formula. Voodoo stuff was lame. Would have liked to see more character development---the Daphne/Fred disagreements were enjoyable. Fav scene: Terror Time montage.

Shockingly good, might even be better than most of the original series. It successfully subverts a lot of expectations in really good ways and tells a story that is good and not just for children.

The rushed pacing aside, this is about as perfect a Scooby movie as there's ever been, & is considered such a classic for a very good reason. The voice performances are on point, the animation is solid & spooky, & the soundtrack features a pair of super catchy songs. The meta-humor, callbacks to the old show, & darker subject matter are nice touches. It's not quite as special seeing it as an adult versus as a kid, but it's still really fun & is endlessly rewatchable. If you haven't seen it, do.

This was the best Scooby-Doo movie to my knowledge.

Surprisingly grim and genuinely creepy at times, it can’t *quite* break the barrier into more adult sophistication, but comes damn close – it's debatable that losing Scooby and Shaggy might have helped this play much better as a genuinely tense throwback to 1940s horror, but with the characterisations of the rest so on point, and some genuinely clever touches in the plotting and ultimate unmasking, this had the potential to be pretty great. Still a notable effort as is.

Surprisingly good for Scooby-Doo and I suspect the high point of the entire franchise?

Pretty good, but probably not as good as watching the Johnny Bravo crossover several times in a row. Would love to see Scooby and Shaggy on Hot Ones.
