50 isn't a fair rating but I don't think any number really is. A truly just bizarre movie. Lots of Canada only stars throughout and the main dude is basically Pierre Turgeon during the Punch-up in Piestany.

My God, this has got to be most Canadian Film Ever made, although the target audience (Canadian hockey fans who also love musicals), is admittedly pretty small. But hey, it has a singing Theo Fleury in it, how can anyone not like that?

I don't think it's subversion works in the way it really wants to and the whole jocks but they sing thing isn't exactly an original idea. Where it does succeed however is just making an absolutely bizarre film that is really charming and fun.
