An absolutely compelling film that conveys the horrors of the Bosnian War and, within it, the determination to keep artistic expression alive and to live life to the fullest. It chronicles the before, during and after of Dickinson's concert at war-torn Sarajevo and, with excellent editing, balances deftly between the main subject and its overarching themes, and offers an authentic, life-affirming, deeply moving account of a harrowing period, an incredible evening and of lives forever changed.
