Seaside Motel

Mostly Japanese comedy doesn't work for me but this is mildly amusing, often due to a sense of the absurd and a 'what in god's name is going on here', feel to some of the scenes. There is a loose interconnection between the tales aside from them all being set in the same rundown motel (whose owner and staff are never seen). To my eyes very Japanese in tone. it kept me interested enough to watch it all tho it's total fluff. Not surreal. In the category of "give it a try, you may really enjoy it".
