Fred Astaire & Paulette Goddard didn't exactly have Rogers & Astaire chemistry, and there lays part of the problem why Second Chorus (1940) plays second fiddle to the Fred & Ginger films. Still got plenty of laughs. Biggest one for me when Astaire got a gig as a Russian!
