Mixes together a number of themes – economic inequality, sexual panic, scapegoating, and, above all, technologically-induced social and familial disconnection – in quite an ambitious way for this type of movie, weaving a kind of tapestry of contemporary life that seems to actually have something to say, within the limits of the mostly generic presentation. Apple products abound.
