Don’t understand why people think this is below some of his other films. Felt like the average Will Ferrell which I tend to enjoy.

Passes the time, but barely. Lots of shouting and profanities but not many laughs. Jackie Earle Haley (Kelly Leak in 'The Bad News Bears' from 1976') is quite good as the stoner while Rob Corddry as the cuckold of Woody Harrelson's love interest is the funniest aspect of this film. Kristen Wiig appears for about 5 minutes as a bear tamer and is funnier in those few moments than most of the rest of the cast.

The most enjoyable Will Ferrell movie of this type yet. For being R-rated it seemed to have the least amount of offensive material (either that or I'm getting used to it). Best of all, it actually had a full story line with multiple characters to love instead of just Will Ferrell. Even if you don't like basketball, this movie is worth watching once.

Hilarious with Will Ferrell once again, but the addition of Woody Harrelson and the support cast made this movie very funny

I would be the first to praise a Will Ferrell movie, simply from sheer loyalty. Though his clueless ogre routine may be wearing thin, this is easily one of his most forgettable performances, including those made during his run with SNL. I'm honestly trying to remember at which point I actually laughed during this movie.

Utter shite.

Bland cookie-cutter commentary, but watchable.
