Sengoku jieitai 1549

Same premise as GI Samurai, (1979) starring Sonny Chiba - note though both have same "bones" the stories are different enough that you can pleasurably watch both. Pretty well done time travel film & quite entertaining. There were shaky bits as appear, unfortunately, in most movies to allow the hero's progress & some typical Japanese emoting that can be a bit much for some. Budget was big enough for OK CGI effects & action scenes well done. "70" where that means decent modern action genre.

It's fine. I mean it's silly but it's fine. One of those bad modern films that just has the premise, walks with it, and finishes it up. Yeah, so if you want to see it, go ahead. If you don't, it's not a big deal. My question is, how does Haruka Ayase end up in all these time travel movies?
