I don't understand all those low ratings. That movie is better than most of the comedies made after 2009, plus it's got the Matthew Perry's charm and wit! It might have a few distasteful jokes, but I'll take them any time over the new trend of "penis" jokes, that are flooding today's cinema.

O.k. So I haven't actually watched the movie. But I know this is what I would give it.

Maybe it’s a craving for star-driven high concept rom-coms, or maybe it’s viewing this in the haze of Perry’s passing, but this is a far more amiable and enjoyable effort than its reputation suggests, fired by a steady stream of Perry’s quipping. A fine support cast definitely does some heavy lifting, though the film is stolen by Pastore’s brilliant comic mobsterish foil, and his crackling chemistry with Perry and Cedric. No masterpiece, but the little touches make it fun and memorable.

Serving a life sentence is about as appealing as watching SERVING SARA a second time, and if you're wise, you'll go through life without there ever being a first.

I saw it for Liz Hurley's hotness and Bruce Campbell's cameo. It was just barely worth it.

The thready plot, weak dialog, and lack of and redeeming qualities are bad enough but the Deus ex machina ending lowers this movie to another level of dumb.

Hudlin has done many crap movies and this one is no different. This time cast is choosen well. Perry and Hurley are fitting in and some of the jokes are funny. Sadly all events are silly and non-realistic.

A romantic comedy that's neither funny nor particularly romantic, Serving Sara is a forgettable time waster.

I like Matthew Perry. In Friends was funny. But this film is totally a disaster. The jokes seem never work. And the script is so poor.

Was subjected to this drivel by a fellow film student in a shared editing room. We were film students, so I thought we'd know better. The further this got, the more it pissed me off that they weren't switching it off. Bottom of the barrel stuff.
