I loved it when I was 4. No, I don't remember any of it, and there's no way I'm ever seeing it again, I'm not even going to read the imdb plot summary. But I loved it when I was 4. I was the target demo, and I approved, so it gets a high rating. It's Sesame Street, so it's probably not too insidious. I mean, it probably won't teach your kids how to be racist, or force them to have unrealistic standards of beauty or teach whatever monstrous thing it was Leave it to Beaver was trying to teach us.

Watch out for a scene that duplicates one found in The Muppet Movie, but this time from Big Bird's point of view.

I'm a Muppets geek. This movie holds up well 20 years later, and the celebrity cameos are a lot of fun.

Cute and enjoyable movie. A nice revisit for those of us who watched this show in childhood (i.e., everybody)

This was a great extension of the Sesame Street series. I always enjoyed it and there are a lot of amusing cameos in it. It's always fun to see something from the small screen expanded to a larger scale.

The first movie I saw in the theater, so it scores points for sentimental reasons.

A pretty cute movie with many different cameos. It was kind of amusing and it was cool seeing all the characters like Bert, Ernie, Gonzo and the Count. Of course the star of the movie Big Bird was kind of fun as well. A fun little movie for the kids.

Not good. Making the film mostly about Big Bird concentrates on Sesame Street's worst character, with Oscar, Bert & Ernie, Cookie Monster, Super Grover and the rest only getting bit parts. Even as a kid I knew Big Bird was a loser. The show has a winning TV format of short sketches and edutainment that just doesn't translate to a feature-length road movie.

Pretty lazy effort for this series. The earlier films and also the more recent one are all better.

Quirked-up white boy gets ripped from the queer commune he grew up in by neoliberal Karen and has to find his way back. Or something like that; this is one I can't possibly talk about without being awash in warm childhood nostalgia. This may be the first movie I ever actually watched, and it just hits all those good buttons.
