Drags in the middle. There are worse, but also certainly better

As is the case with a lot of Gialli at least for me, this one was interesting up until the underwhelming reveal. Now don't get me wrong some Giallo have great reveals but most are just meh.

As far as Gialli go this is not super sleazy or violent. The mystery is by the book but pretty gripping anyway. The competent execution manages to sustain interest and attention. You might even say it has some class, but that's a wholly relative thing. The laid back Riz Ortolani score helps.

Better than average giallo offering from Lenzi. No great shakes, really, but fun for the enthusiasts.

Kind of drab giallo that lacks the visionary style of greats like Argento and relies on formulaic death scenes (why yes, this lady will be shown topless then promptly murdered, how surprising!). Even when the killer has to overcome constant police surveillance, it's pretty amazing how dumb the cops are and uncreative the killer (and writer) are.
