All the scenes with William Powell are highlights, not that the other actor don't do well its just that William Powell is so much better and more at ease with the dialogue. The ending is a bit too abrupt for my liking. If you can find this check it out, its short, fun and features one of my favorite actors.

Slowly completing my William Powell filmography. Shadow of the Law is one of his films from the early days of talkies. Talking was never Powell's difficulties and it's not an issue here either. What is an issue is the slow and undramatic pace this accidental crime story. One climax moment made the movie. Otherwise it's Powell being the caliber actor he is making this durable.
