Shazam! Fury of the Gods

I'm disappointed, Mr. Sandberg. There were a few moments that I enjoyed (I really loved the Dr. Strange-esque scene!), but at the end of the movie, I couldn't help feeling that we are not going to see Shazam in the rebooted universe. My one major gripe was how the internal conflict within the female trio, each embodying distinct mindsets, was portrayed in such an underwhelming, dull manner.

Mostly a kid’s movie, even if there was less going in circle than the first movie. The side actors did better jobs than the kids and Shazam family

I watched this movie like two weeks ago and already forgot about half of it. I guess that says a lot. It was okay, but nowhere near as good as the first one.

"Shazam! Fury of the Gods" is a film that, while ambitious and visually stunning, is ultimately undone by its narrative complexity and tonal inconsistency. Its commitment to exploring its characters' personal struggles is commendable, but the overemphasis on mythological subplots and spectacle detracts from its emotional core.
