A dull failure at a comedy where everything that goes wrong is because of a woman's stereotypical temperament, and everyone brushes off her blunders saying that it's ok that she screws everything up because she's a woman. I find the message to be wholly offensive as a male, but the worst part about this movie is that it's got Buster Keaton in it, he doesn't say a single word and he's only on screen for about ten seconds.

The old boys club (Reginald Owen, Sig Ruman, Edmund Gwenn, etc) behind the lead couple was easily the highlight of She Went to the Races (1945). Sadly the plot and the pairing of James Craig & Frances Gifford wasn't all that interesting. Just a mild humorous affair.
