Bartel's last is a deranged and brilliant and almost totally unseen something or other about three siblings raised in a bomb shelter, playacting and swapping familial roles in ritualized re-enactments of television shows (punishment is internment with Mom & Dad's carcasses). Plays no-shit like some cinematic ideal of "image-fiction" as articulated in Wallace's "E Unibus Pluram", tube as baffler of bonds, instructor of values, wellspring(/evaporator) of language and myth. "et cetera et cetera"
