Shifty

Unoriginal but (besides some odd plotting) pretty well done, slightly disappointing ending. Some hints of real talent from the actors and director in here.

This story about drug dealers and users in suburbia worked pretty nicely. The drama never becomes tóó much, and most of the film felt awkwardly realistic.

Artsy, realistic, but unsatisfying little independent film. Urban drug drama is the best way to describe it. Biggest flaw? It's too small in every aspect. Decent, for the directorial debut.

I liked Riz Ahmed in Four Lions, but this one was not so good.
