Shock 'Em Dead

Pathetic, cheese encrusted 80's rock n' roll/horror flick about a dweeb who sells his soul for guitar god powers. The music is flat out embarrassing, the band (Spastik Kolon) are total dorks, and the gore is all cheap and crappy. The majority of this was filmed in someone's house, the only redeeming factor is the presence of Traci Lords as the band manager, easily the best actress in the film. Sadly, she's also the only girl in the movie who doesn't get her tits out.

Should've slowly had the guys wig get bigger throughout the run time. Give us something to look forward to in this slog!

True crap but hey it's got Traci Lords.

This has a lot of genuinely good ideas, & I'm not kidding. Each of the baddies having to be killed in different ways, their reflection showing their true selves, & the backstories for each of the girls are all interesting elements. Unfortunately, everything else is pretty bad. The acting, the rather misogynistic writing, & the sluggish pacing, among other things. The kills are lame, & the romantic subplot is particularly trashy. There is a small bit of camp charm to it, but it's still not good.
