Live action zombie nazis w/ goggles walking under water, in the jungle & rising out of the water are creepy & interesting images. There's also a brief moment of genuine suspense (as opposed to scenes elongated well past tolerable to fill time) as 1 of the protagonists finds a shared safe spot too claustrophobic to stay in. But there's NOTHING else here. The kills are lame & worse, there's only enough story here for a 30 min short, max & its stretched to 90. I FF'd most of it. Cushing's no help.

I'm guessing the studio green-lit a remake of "Island of Dr Moreau" then, weeks later, it was learned there was only enough in the budget for these bitchin' goggles. Hence...Nazis! That's how it went down in my head anyway.

A bunch of goofs out for a pleasure cruise on their boat get deserted on a remote island infested with Nazi zombies. Pretty slow moving stuff, and most of the kills are bloodless drownings, but there's lots of creepiness and hysterical screaming. John Carradine and Peter Cushing add a touch of class to the otherwise unremarkable cast.

Gilligan's Island meets a murderous Kraut-Rock or Early 80s synth-pop group. This is quite spectacular viewing for a low-budget horror film, and thankfully lacking in gore and shock. It comes with a definite air of menace, but lacks characterisation for the most part.

You might expect some oldschool italian style blood and tits in this but you wont get any of that. Super dry (concerning kills, no blood) basically pg rated. And on top of that schlock level acting, if there was anything positive to say about it it would be the setting, and the monsters look effective. Specially for this sort of budget flick. Over all though this has a sort of small cult following but i don't really get why, its a bore. Not even exploitation. Would be good for a rifftrax mayb

Any movie crawlin' with begoggled Nazi zombie death-slaves oughta be more fun than this. Anyway, it's got Carradine and Cushing...and some pissed-off Radar guy who gripes about everything. When the Nazis finally do show up, they look kinda like Sting and kinda like Lou Reed (from the Sally Can't Dance album). Jay Ferguson is also on hand, mustache huge and bristling (though he doesn't sing "Thunder Island" in this one). And in the end only Karen Allen is left alive to tell thee...

Some really memorable images to be found here, especially any scene where the aquatic Nazi zombies rise slowly from their watery graves. Didn't even realize until it was over that there's almost no blood to be found here, yet the dread is palpable throughout. Very sleepy in spots, but surprisingly solid for what it is, and helped along by its sparse low-budget synthesizer score.

Could have used more gore. Still I liked this anyways-the island setting is gorgeous and the zombies look cool, at least.

Em honra dos zumbis nazistas que foram pedir intervenção militar hoje. Rá! Filme # 600 do ano. Não é um filme particularmente memorável, mas é um bom exemplar do subgênero zumbis nazis, além de contar com lendas como Carradine e Cushing para maior apreciação. Box Versátil Zumbis no Cinema Volume 4.

Green Zombies and a weird story. Not really good but almost not bad. Give it a try if you like a little bit B-Movie flair.

Some gorgeous shots and fun action. The scene where they lose their sailboat is excellent suspense. The water is beautiful to look at too. Suffers that low-budget horror problem of too much wandering around, but still a solid nazi zombie romp. Oh, and that poster rules.

Likeable, well-made, but perhaps lacking any significant impact. There is a decent undercurrent of dread and suspense, underpinned by the subtle electro soundtrack, and the island locations are nicely shot. The cast does fine, Cushing and Carradine lending some experience. The kills are surprisingly bloodless for what is essentially a zombie film, and the threat comes from some rather odd Nazi-flavoured zombies who could easily work together to form a Devo/Kraftwerk-style synth band.
